Solid performer for energising days out
If, like many of our customers, you love the great outdoors, and riding through open landscape, then an off-road electric bike like this would be a very good choice. With a Bosch Performance motor, proper hydraulic brakes and front suspension, this will tackle all but the wildest trails.
What we like
This style of frame is great for a long day of riding; the low crossbar which allows you to hop forward and rest with two feet firmly on the ground. The battery is hidden within the frame which gives the bike a compact and sporty look. It all works well together as a package. The only things you might want to add are a suspension seatpost and perhaps some wider grips on the handlebars just to enhance the comfort level.
LAPIERRE: Championship winning pedigree
Unless you are a follower of cycle racing, you might be unaware that Lapierre is a championship winning name to be reckoned with. The French-brand has a long list of cyclocross, and road championships to its name and in 2003, the Lapierre sponsored FDJ team held every jersey at the Tour de France. Lapierre also manufactured the first full-suspension bike to win a French MTB championship, and also the first 29inch mountain bike to win a World Cup cross-country race.
