About the Haibike Trekking 4 Low Standover

What the Manufacturer says:
With the new Trekking 4 Lowstandover and its extra comfortable geometry, you are well prepared for longer rides. The powerful Yamaha PW-TE motor gives you the boost you need for many miles - whether on your commute to work or on a multi-day ride with luggage. The German traffic licensing regulations-compliant equipment makes this e-Trekking bike the ideal companion for all your trips.
Great Value
Haibike have achieved a great balancing act of price vs performance by choosing a motor that has a 'softer tuning' than some comparable trekking bikes but making sure that all the other components work really well together. The PW-TE motor provides 60nm torque, which isn't quite as strong as the 70-80nm offered on more rugged bikes, but because the Trekking 4 isn't bogged down with huge forks, fat tyres, and other heavy-duty components, it remains surprisingly spritely and agile. If you were looking for an all-weather commuting bike, this fits the bill.
Smart design
We like the low standover frame for this style of bike. It just makes sense. The Trekking 4 is a bike that lends itself to the kind of rides that involve loading up the rack with panniers. Rides out in the countryside where you might need to bring extra layers, food, or even your charger. Having the low standover frame makes mounting and dismounting with panniers a lot easier.
Summary: A robust and fully-equipped bike that remains agile thanks to a good balance of relatively light components and Yamaha's PW-TE motor. Use as an all-weather commuter e-bike, or a bike to explore the countryside.
