About the Focus Aventura² 6.7 (crossbar)
Probably the perfect bike for holidaying in the Cotswolds, the Lake District, the New Forest, the Kent Coast, the Norfolk Broads; really anywhere that can take you off the tarmac and into the heart of the British countryside.
With dynamic yet smooth power coming from Bosch's latest motor system, you will be able to pedal uphill with ease so you can save your energy for appreciating the gorgeous views.
We like the overall specification of this e-bike, particularly the choice of tyres; in this case the Schwalbe Smart Sams which we have fitted to many bikes over the years. They're durable, high traction and for unpaved trails they are the best choice.
The Intuvia 100 display is clear and simple to use so you'll feel safer knowing that you won't have to take your eyes off the road ahead for very long whenever you need to check your speed or battery level.
The battery capacity comes in at 625wh. This is the right size for a trekking style e-bike. For these long days out off-road - especially if it's hilly and you're carrying luggage - you do need something quite large to avoid 'range anxiety'. While this does make the bike a touch heavier to lift onto your bike rack (25kg), when riding, the power of the Bosch system will make you believe the bike is 10kg lighter.
Summary: A fabulous example of an electric trekking bike that's as lively as the colour of its frame. Also available as a stepthrough.
