You like the flow of riding on the road, but want to escape the grey concrete and tarmac. This is where the Scott Solace Gravel eRide 30 comes in.
Road flow even on gravel
When you have a light bike like this – only 14.1kg – that’s powered by a 60Nm motor plus your own pedalling, the only possible riding sensation is ‘satisfying flow’. The carbon frame is, of course, very light but it also has the stiffness required to allow the bike to be nimble and under your control whatever the terrain.
You will be rolling on G-One Overland tyres by Schwalbe which are the perfect go-between to transition from tarmac to gravel and back again.
60Nm from a discreet motor
We’ve been around long enough to remember when you had to have a motor twice this size to get half the amount of torque as this TQ motor has. With advanced design and engineering, the TQ-HPR60 motor is powerful enough for any incline but doesn’t have the bulk of a mountain bike motor. With such a discreet power system, the bike maintains a classic, aerodynamic silhouette that will turn heads.
Minimalist Design
The cables and controls on this bike are also discreet. The cables are diverted through the handlebars and frame so there are no visual distractions whatsoever. This bike is a triumph of modern functional design, balancing lightness with ability to handle gravel trails with features such as:
