About the Focus Jam² 8.8
We've waited a long time to get Focus electric mountain bikes in stock and it has been well worth it.
The Frame and Geometry
The Jam² 8.8 features a carbon front triangle, while the rear triangle is aluminium, which we find offers a great balance of lightness and stability. The 750wh battery has been positioned as low as possible to lower the bike's centre of gravity and give you more control.
Suspension
The Jam² 8.8 uses the F.O.L.D. rear suspension system - created by the in-house engineers at Focus. It's a four-bar platform to allow full vertical motion of the rear wheel but it's also highly simplified to retain lightness in the bike. The effect is extremely agile riding.
FREE UPGRADE
This bike came to us with FOX FACTORY forks rather than Fox Rhythm forks which is a free upgrade.
Power
The power system is the 85nm Bosch CX Smart System, and in a bike as responsive and agile as this one, you really feel the power. You'll get into the flow of riding immediately, so if you're a trail rider that is looking for that feeling of perpetual motion, the Jam² 8.8 is a brilliant choice.
