About the E-Go CarbonLite 3S folding electric bike

High in ride quality but low in weight, the CarbonLite 3S is a sophisticated little e-bike with big time technology.
Lightweight
At 15.3kg, the CarbonLite 3S is extremely portable. Easy to lift into the car boot, the motorhome or into the train carriage, this would suit the frequent traveller down to the ground.
The lightness is due to to the carbon fibre frame which is not only low in weight but looks brilliant. In our opinion, this is the best looking folding electric bike we've ever stocked.
Mid-Drive Motor
Most electric folding bikes come with hub motors which is an older more basic technology. The CarbonLite 3S uses a Star Union mid-drive motor, which offers more efficiency and more torque than a hub motor.
Mid-drive motors also give the ride a much more naturalistic feeling than a hub drive (which can be a bit jerky). We appreciated that this e-bike gave us much more 'fine' control than you would expect on a small-wheeled bike.

Carbon belt drive - No maintenance needed other than to keep it clean.
Hydraulic brakes - High-quality Tektro hydraulic brakes keep you in control at all times
Frame design - Not only does the frame look good, but it also features an integrated rear light, and a handy gap above the motor which acts as a carry handle. Great for carrying up train station stairs!

Where can I service/repair this e-bike?
Energise E-bikes have in-house workshops that are equipped to diagnose, repair and maintain this model of e-bike, and any model we sell. We will only stock e-bikes from manufacturers who can provide spares and technical training.
