About the Basso Volta Gravel
A Gravel Bike that doesn't skimp on power
Basso have taken no half measures on this bike. While other electric gravel bikes have a relatively small motor and battery, the Volta is fitted with a Polini E-P3+ motor which puts out 75nm of torque...yet feels like 150nm! The bike is so light, that with this huge amount of power, this bike launches up hill.
Full Size Battery
The battery too, makes no concessions to the style of bike. With a 500wh battery, the range of this bike is considerably larger than other bikes in its class.
The Ride
When you ride the Volta, it almost feels like it 'wants to go'. It feels eager to get you on your way, which makes riding it extremely exciting. The power and the lightness also give you a real sense of confidence. In essence, you have a bike with the style and efficiency of a road bike, but with the thrill of a mountain bike. An awesome ride.
