About the Scott Patron eRide 930

What is this hiding?
We've been waiting with baited breath for this model to come out. We were intrigued to know how well the 'hidden' rear shock would work and we can tell you it works great! It also makes the bike look very smart. The rear shock sits in the top tube of the bike underneath a removable cover.
Similarly everything has been designed to look neat and under control. All the cables at the front of the bike, which would normally be in a spaghetti like arrangement are channelled through the front of the frame to keep them tidy.
The bike even has rear lights built into the rear of the frame. Very swanky.
Classic Scott Sports quality
The ride of the bike is just as you'd expect from a premium Scott eMTB. A lot of uphill power, a lot of agility and a lot of feeling like you're the greatest mountain biker alive!
Some riders will really like the wide angle of the front suspension forks, especially if you're the kind to really attack some rough trails, while some it might take a bit of getting used to. But don't worry, that won't take long because you'll want to ride this bike as often as you can.
As an experiment, we wanted to see if this bike would also work as a heavy-duty trekking e-bike. We put on mudguards and rear rack (from the SKS) brand. The good news is that they worked really well, and looked very smart. So even if you're not a true mountain biker but want a full-suspension bike for the off-road comfort, you can make the bike more practical.
