About the Specialized Turbo Tero 4.0 ST EQ

Bigger battery...but it's hidden

710wh of lithium ion battery power is hidden within the frame of this superb electric trekking bike. With other trekking e-bikes giving an already impressive 500wh of energy, this bike would leave them all trailing on a long ride. You may never reach a point where you need to stop your ride for a top up.

Riding without boundaries

Trekking style electric bikes are equipped for riding on road and off-road so you don't need to limit where you ride. You won't want to shred a downhill racing trail on this, but getting off the beaten track for a spontaneous exploration is definitely on the cards.

Lighter than you think

You would expect a bike like this with all the equipment on it to be around 27kg. However this tops out at about 22kg which makes it so much easier to move around than similar bikes.

Summary: This new model range from Specialized has really impressed us with the power and range. The lowstep design will also be welcomed by many customers.

As with all our e-bikes, this is available to test-ride. Contact your nearest showroom to reserve your slot.

About the Specialized brand

This is a brand born in the Californian sunshine all the way back in 1974, so you can be certain that it has fun, leisure and adventure at its heart. We have been extremely impressed by the overall feel of these bikes. They are spritely without being overly aggressive, and comfortable without feeling old-fashioned.

If you want a bike that looks special, you'll want to look at Specialized bikes (pun intended).
