From the photo you can see the bike has an open frame which is great for hopping on and off the saddle in the stop-start nature of urban riding, or for when you are carrying luggage and need to stepthrough the frame. What you can't see in the photo however is the hidden suspension in the headset which, in combination with the carbon forks, give you a lightweight way of absorbing shocks from the road.
The Vado SL range of electric bikes are 40% lighter than the average electric bike so if you are looking for something that is not too heavy to pedal above the 15.5mph motor cut-off, this is a great choice. It's also great for those who will need to handle the bike upstairs, through hallways, or over gates etc.
The most stylish commuting e-bike
This is the sleekest commuting electric bike we've seen. The slim frame, the really lovely integration of motor and battery into the frame, and the tailored-to-fit accessories like the mudguards and rack.
Summary: The lightest, most stylish, fully-equipped electric commuter bike we can find.
As with all our e-bikes, this is available to test-ride. Contact your nearest showroom to reserve your slot.

About the Specialized brand
This is a brand born in the Californian sunshine all the way back in 1974, so you can be certain that it has fun, leisure and adventure at its heart. We have been extremely impressed by the overall feel of these bikes. They are spritely without being overly aggressive, and comfortable without feeling old-fashioned.
If you want a bike that looks special, you'll want to look at Specialized bikes (pun intended).
