From first glance, this is the type of bike that a large amount of our customers will feel is familiar to them. A classic bicycle geometry is enhanced with knobbly 700x42c tyres which will allow you to get out of the concrete jungle and down amongst the greenery where riding is a little more interesting and a lot more relaxing. This cross-country style e-bike is relatively rare, so when this came along, we knew we had to stock them. If you want to use this as your commuter e-bike, you'll need to add lights and mudguards.
Attention to detail
BMC are a staple of all the big cycling competitions around the world, and they win more than their fair share of podium positions. You don't get to the top without real attention to detail, and when you come to try this electric bike, you'll see that the little things are taken care of. The pedals are wide, comfortable and offer high grip, the kickstand is strong and doesn't rattle about, the wiring is diverted neatly down the inside of the frame, and the frame itself is of the highest quality. When you see attention to detail like that on a bike, you know you're going to get a good ride.
Powerful yet compact motor
The Shimano E6100 motor has been designed to be as compact as possible, while still giving the rider enough force to ride dynamically off-road and uphill. The narrow width of the motor allows the rider to maintain a natural pedal motion which might seem like a little thing, but it's the type of thing that adds to the overall pleasure of a ride. Besides, with Shimano components all over it, reliability is built in to this electric bike.
Summary: A capable, unfussy and high-quality bike for commuting and cross country riding.
