About the Gazelle Orange C8 HMB

Traditional, upright seating position

If cycling in comfort is what matters to you - taking the strain off your lower back and being in a natural seated position - then Gazelle have you covered. The 125 year old Dutch bike giant has the market cornered on comfortable 'everyday' bikes. The Dutch cycle more than any other nation and have little tolerance for anything that is not comfortable enough to cycle everyday. The Orange product line is their comfort range of e-bikes and have been a big hit with our customers. 

Ready to Ride

There is absolutely nothing we'd add to this to make this better except perhaps a set of panniers for carrying your bits and pieces. We really like the comfort features such as the suspension units in the headstem and seatpost - little luxuries that make the ride experience so much more enjoyable. The lights are neatly positioned so there are few 'sticky out bits'. The level of 'finish' on Gazelle bikes is second to none.

Bosch Powered

If the Dutch know about bicycles, then the Germans know about motors. The Bosch Active Line Plus motor is a smooth motor that balances high mileage with hill climbing. With a bike like this which you are likely to use as a shopping bike, you will not want to go for a motor that does not have at least this level of torque (50nm). Fully equipped bikes with a stepthrough frame are by their nature heavy so make sure you have a motor that can cope. The Active Line Plus motor ticks that box.
