If just half of those who drove their cars into town centres switched to a bike like the Turbo Vado SL 4.0 EQ, the world would be at least twice as happy as it is now. That statement isn't based on rigorous science but on how impressive the bike is.
We can point to a particular customer who bought this bike who had visited several other bike stores, decided to check us out without intending to buy, and after test-riding for a few minutes decided that, yes, this was the bike that would replace all her others.
Lightweight, slimline, and fully equipped, this is a bike you will show off to your family, colleagues, anyone who will bear to listen. It just captures what everyone wants: an electric bike that looks like a conventional bike, but rides even better than you imagine an electric bike could.
The Brose motors that Specialized use are a big part of that. They are light and quiet, and the acceleration is seamless. We'll be honest: when we found out they had Brose motors, we were a bit nervous. The early Brose motors were not exceptionally reliable or powerful. These, however, are exclusive to Specialized, and have blown us - and our customers -- away. This particular motor doesn't offer the most torque in the world, but the bike is so light, you probably won't need it.
What the manufacturer says:
"There's no other e-bike out there with ride quality, range, and power like this, at a weight that's light enough to carry. The Turbo Vado SL 4.0 EQ is best for your daily commute, quick errands and getting around town. Extra-bright, built-in lights in front and back mean you'll see and be seen. DRYTECH fenders keep water and road spray away, and a standard rear rack is always ready for your bags and panniers. This is your go-to for local transportation."

About the Specialized brand
This is a brand born in the Californian sunshine all the way back in 1974, so you can be certain that it has fun, leisure and adventure at its heart. We have been extremely impressed by the overall feel of these bikes. They are spritely without being overly aggressive, and comfortable without feeling old-fashioned.
If you want a bike that looks special, you'll want to look at Specialized bikes (pun intended).
