This is smooth and silent and we wouldn't mind betting the most comfortable you will have ever been on a bike. Outwardly this is a bike that is built for city-riding. The rear rack, lights and 700c wheels are all features that are useful for urban riders but when you're riding, the comfort and smoothness of the ride instantly transport you to somewhere more scenic; to the coast perhaps. The bike has the look and feel of a beach cruiser, but unlike those heavy beasts, the power from the Specialized 1.2e motor allows you to keep going mile after mile.
Speaking of that motor, when you test-ride it, you'll notice how quiet it is. The motor uses a belt-drive which reduces motor noise. When you're out in the countryside listening to birdsong, there'll be no distractions from the natural sounds.
The frame is super comfortable, and although it doesn't have the lowest stepthrough, it has a low enough crossbar for most people to get on and off easily. All the additions to the frame are well-made and well finished: the minimalist rear-rack which integrates into the rear mudguard saves weight, while the heavy-duty kickstand and tough mudguards are the little details which can give you reassurance that this is a supremely well-constructed e-bike.
As with all our e-bikes, you can give them a test-ride, so get in touch to arrange one at your nearest branch.

About the Specialized brand
This is a brand born in the Californian sunshine all the way back in 1974, so you can be certain that it has fun, leisure and adventure at its heart. We have been extremely impressed by the overall feel of these bikes. They are spritely without being overly aggressive, and comfortable without feeling old-fashioned.
If you want a bike that looks special, you'll want to look at Specialized bikes (pun intended).
