About Bergamont E-Horizon FS Edition

It was already half a mile into the first test ride of this model that our team member realised how quiet the bike was. The newest Bosch motor system has been engineered to eliminate almost all motor sounds. Further on during the ride, and he almost forgot he was cycling; that's how smooth it is. The feeling of cruising along in such a smooth, quiet way is remarkable.

If your aim is to enjoy a bike ride and soak in the scenery without having to think about constantly adjusting the settings to make the ride comfortable and enjoyable, give this bike a go. It would be extremely difficult to find a more serene ride.

90% of our customers ask us about making the saddle more comfortable but we think this saddle set-up is perfect as it is. It is fitted with an ergonomic saddle already, which sits a-top adjustable Suntour rear suspension. For the roads, the full-suspension arrangement allows you to dreamily glide along and when off-road means you don't have to shake, rattle and roll.

Another thing you'll enjoy, whether you are thinking about this bike as a commuter vehicle, or whether you're thinking about this as your countryside explorer, is that the seating position is actually very upright. You can get a sporty performance without having to strain yourself into a road-biking position.

In short, you must book a test-ride.

About the Bergamont brand

Bergamont come from the St. Pauli district of the German city of Hamburg. We took them on originally for their super comfortable and stable stepthrough bikes but their other designs have impressed us so much that we have expanded our range of Bergamont electric bikes to include electric mountain bikes and electric trekking bikes too.

Bergamont want to create a world where you will happily chose the electric bike instead of a car. You can tell that as soon as you get on one of their bikes. You can feel that they are built for frequent use; there's something about how stable they feel on the ground. They inspire cycling confidence, and if that's what you're after, this is the brand for you.
