The E-Go Lite Plus is our 'medium range' electric folding bike of choice. As a rough guide, the 250wh motor will see you through 15-20 miles of assisted riding. What we like about this bike is that it has made sure that the rider's comfort isn't compromised by the small size. This is because - like all the folding e-bikes we stock - the frame build is very good.
We've tried many, many electric folding bikes throughout the years, and a great deal of them are real 'boneshakers'. The E-Go range is definitely not in that category. Also the 20" wheels are far better at soaking up the bumps in the road than the smaller 16" wheels often sported by folding bikes.
The bike has got decent gearing too; 7-speed shimano gears, no less. You'll be able to keep the bike moving at an efficient pace without overstraining the motor or your legs.
We think this bike will suit casual riders who prefer to pack their bikes into the boot of the car to go on a leisurely ride out by the coast or in the country. The E-Go bikes are wonderfully 'unfussy' and if that appeals to you, we have no doubt you'll get the most out of them.
Summary: A very neat folding electric bike that customers have really taken to during the last year. Perfect to 'pack and go'.
