Comfort Factor? We normally say that the more substantial and weighty e-bikes offer the most comfort, but this one stands up extremely well in the comfort stakes despite being so light. The riding position of the Open Ticket is in a well-balanced sweet spot: not too upright, and not too out-stretched. And even though it doesn’t have suspension, we’ve found it is comfortable anyway, thanks in large part to quality wheels, tyres and spokes. Ride Quality? On the flat, you’ll be able to ride this with no power comfortably although the Aikema motor does give a punchy bit of energy that is a lot of fun, so you’ll probably end up riding in power level 1 or 2. While it doesn’t match the smoothness of the Bosch motor, the Aikema motor gives a feeling of launching forward, so your riding gets a dynamic, energising flavour.   Uphill?On the hills, we found that power level 3 and upwards compares very well to a mid-drive motor. You will need to click through your gears to find the sweet spot for hill climbing, but considering the saving you make by having a rear hub motor instead of mid-drive, this might be a price worth paying. Frame DesignA lot of people will like the frame shape too. It’s not a stepthrough bike, but it is a "hop-off" bike. You can safely hop forward off the saddle when you need to make a stop which many riders prefer over staying in the saddle and balancing on tiptoes (or on one foot). At the same time, because it isn’t a full stepthrough, for those who don’t like the upright riding position, it won’t feel awkward to ride. Summary: An excellent value electric bike that looks like  a regular bike, and feels exceptionally zippy. And you should be. The stylish Neomouv Ticket comes in the classic hybrid-touring style. This means sportiness balanced with comfort. The lightness of the bike means that the 42Nm of torque from the motor translates incredibly well to take-off power. The bike is only 18kg – as light as some electric folding bikes – and so even in its lowest power setting, it really launches forward once the pedals start turning. If you’re comparing the specifications of this bike with others, you might think that the battery is on the small side. While this is true, the lightness of the bike means that you should get more mileage out of this bike than you would expect. Ride in an efficient gear, keep your pedal cadence lively, and the Ticket will be your ticket to energising days out. Would I need to add anything?The bike is a pleasingly pared back in its design, and as such it doesn’t have suspension forks. While this keeps it light and spritely, for people who are looking for a luxury level of comfort, you might want to consider a suspension seatpost, or a set of ergonomic handlebar grips. Summary: This (and its siblings the Open Ticket and the Malva) are probably our favourite ever bikes in the sub-£1000 price range. The addition of a suspension forks also helps stabilise the ride and give you a confidence-boosting feeling of control.    Get up and go... This e-bike has a good amount of 'verve' from the Ananda hub motor. Click through the gears and find a brisk pedalling rhythm and you'll find that the motor rewards you with an energising boost....much more than you think you would get from a small bike. Just make sure you're pedalling in an efficient gear. We sometimes say that bikes like this 'want' to move. Although it's hub motor rather than a mid-drive motor, it still packs a punch: 60Nm to be precise. This means that the 'take off' power is very good and once you pick up your cadence (your pedalling rhythm) you'll be cruising along very happily. On that note, the bike is sensitive to your cadence and gearing. So take some time to 'get into the groove' with your pedal rhythm and gear combinations, and the bike will reward you with impressively swift riding.  We also noticed that this was also very manoeuvrable compared to other long tail cargo bikes. It has sensitive steering so it never feels sluggish when turning.  What you will like As well as the above features, we think you'll like how comfortable it is. We've noticed that all of the Roxform bikes are very comfortable to ride. The combination of height at the front end, and the quality of the aluminium frames allows seems to take any harshness out of a ride. It also has front suspension that's specially calibrated for cargo bikes.  If you're sharing the bike with another rider, there is a lot of adjustability in the seat post and handlebar height. When we test-rode it, it was virtually impossible not to do some extra turns and manoeuvres. It really responds well to the rider's steering. We thinks it's to do with how well balanced the bike is, and how good the front forks are, which is something Scott Sports engineers and designers do very well. If you're someone who wants to feel more confident with riding a bike, this will give you that, because you'll always feel in control.   Dynamic in Sport Mode  Many riders like to ride in Eco mode to get as much mileage out as possible. Others ride in Turbo mode because they enjoy the aggressive acceleration. We found that this bike gave its best ride in Sports mode.
